Settima produces several pump models for Plastic Injection Molding Machines (PIMMs)
SMT8B three screw pump, designed for low-pressure applications, due to an extremely compact body is perfect for closedloop circuit chiller units as well as low-pressure filtration units. The SMT16B, for medium-pressures up to 40 bar, is used both on bigger filtration systems and on more powerful chiller units, pumping the low-temperature coolant oil from the reservoir tank to the injection machine.
The real protagonist in the PIM sector is the Continuum® pump, which is ideal for the power hydraulics systems of plastic injection machines. The Continuum® pump is able to manage very high pressures up to 300 bar, being completely no noise, drastically lowering the noise pollution in workplace.
